Maya Weishof, born in Curitiba and currently based in São Paulo, is part of a new generation of prominent Brazilian artists. Her work has been gaining recognition both in Brazil and internationally, with exhibitions in Italy, Costa Rica, and Portugal.

Her practice is characterized by a striking visual language in which colors, forms, and textures blend to create compositions with a strong sense of identity. In Brazil, her artwork is included in important institutional collections, such as the Pinacoteca de São Paulo and the Museu Oscar Niemeyer, as well as the Rennie Museum Collection in Canada.
